Mission For HOPE

A Passion
(This was from a post on my Wordpress.. I am migrating all my posts over here to my blogger. This was from October. I do Mission for HOPE each year)
Are you passionate about something or maybe more than one thing? I am a very passionate person. Right now I am Passionate about what I have been working on all month. As you noticed in my first post!! I mentioned Mission for HOPE. This is my passion for the current time. It is however always on my mind and I am always supporting Breast Cancer Awareness every chance I get. There are Three big reasons I am so passionate about my Mission for HOPE.
  1. My mother- I lost her last year to breast cancer. It was hard losing her after losing her. I won’t go into great detail on this post, but rather save it for a different day. I will clarify my losing her after losing her though. While my sister and I was taking care of mom it was hard and emotional, but 90% of the time I was able to push all heartache aside and stay focused on keeping her comfortable and keeping a feeling of peace in the home. After she was gone my world crashed and I am sill putting it all together.
  2. In December of 2013 I joined a wonderful company on just a sheer whim and I am so passionate about what they do. Their mission is to Empower, Uplift, and Validate women everywhere. I was suffering through the start of a nasty divorce and doing it all alone in a different state from my family. My company gave me more sisters than I know what to do with and the emotional support was amazing. The passion of this company and their mission is a great combination with my passion.
  3. My children- Going through this divorce has been rough on my kids and losing my mom just before was hard on them as well. I am passionate about my Mission for HOPE  because I want my kids to know and see that even though we don’t have everything there is always a greater good and  a greater reason to keep helping and giving no matter.
If you have time please check out Mission for HOPE on Facebook. Once there you will see that I am giving away all the money I make off of any sales to the Breast cancer Awareness. My mother did everything you was supposed to. She went in for her check up and then just out of the blue she found a lump. It was all down hill from there. I have an amazing picture that I keep on my dresser of her and my kids the year before. I have added her cap and a beautiful rose clip. Surrounded by memories of both of my grandmothers. Three amazing ladies and a powerful reminder I am never alone.
Message: Passion is the mood for today and I am passionate about what I do. My message to you is to never give up. Even if you know your last day is tomorrow continue to share your passion. Passion can be contagious and sharing it is the only way to let others know and feel it. You may lead a person to their passion or help them embrace a passion they were too afraid to embrace.
Question: What is your passion? Why? I love hearing from you so please share, share, share!!
